These charms are made of recycled sterling silver or ancient bronze cast. I carved a heart into a piece of charcoal, where I then held a flame to several pieces of silver. As the silver heats, it flows into the nooks and crannies of the mold, which gives the backside of the charm its unique texture and shape.
The gradual cooling provides a unique texture across the various charms, making them each special. Some have been stamped with ME or US—pick your poison!
Finally, I added a hoop to hold a sterling “barbed wire” for the final detailing. On the chain of your choice!
These are Made to Order, so you can choose your metal for the heart, notate if you want it stamped, and choose your chain. If you have your own chain or want to add it to your keys, bracelet or anything else, you can buy the charm separately!
